Spring Term News 2024
It's really getting to the pointy end of our dance season - with our End of Year Spectacular coming in fast. Our dancers have worked hard during the last few weeks of the Winter Season and all our teachers are so happy with their progress in readiness for their performance.

Halloween Disco
We love to dress up here at The Dance Space so we invite all dancers to join us at our Halloween Disco.
When: Saturday, 26 October
Times: Dancers 3-6 years - Tiny Halloween Party - 3pm - 4pm
Dancers 7+ years - Halloween Dance Party - 5pm - 6:30pm

Our audition was successful!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS - we are off to perform at the happiest place on earth!
Its not too late to join us on our tour! We will have final costs available at the end of
October and after this time deposits will be due.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all dancers and their families - I can tell you from personal experience how fun it is to dance on the Disneyland stage! And what a wonderful opportunity to not only perform but also experience the workshop opportunities both in Disneyland and in Los Angeles.​

WHAT HAS MISS SARAH BEEN UP TO THESE HOLIDAYS?
During the break I have been training hard in New York City at Broadway Dance Centre, Steps on Broadway and the Ailey School.
Also in Los Angeles at Movement Lifestyle, West Coast Dance Theatre, The Playground LA, Millennium Dance Complex and LA Dancefit.
Taking class is great to ensure that I am keeping up with all the latest training styles and making sure that my technique is up to scratch - but also gives me insight into the current choreographic styles across a variety of genres.
Oh - and did I mention - I LOVE dance!
It has also been great for me to see shows and catch up with my fellow dance teachers and mentors in both NYC and LA.

Ballet Examination Candidates
This term - along with preparing for the End of Year Spectacular - some of our ballet students are also preparing for their RAD Ballet Examinations. These dancers have already undergone an exam intensive these holidays and are preparing themselves for their examinations on December 11 & 12 this term.
We commend our dancers on their dedication to their training and thank Miss Sian and Miss Izi for the careful preparation of our dancers for their examinations.
